All Parrelli Optical Safety Eyewear Programs are custom designed to meet the specific needs of your company's management and employees. All plans can include any or all of the following features and benefits.

Screening

On site, complete visual screening of all employees enrolled in the safety program to determine if current safety glasses are adequate and fulfill all OSHA requirements. Testing includes visual acuity (sharpness of vision) for both distance and near vision and a vision skills test for eye muscle coordination. Finally, a physical inspection of the current eyewear will be performed to determine its suitability for protective use.

Eye Examinations

On site option available. Comprehensive eye examinations including checking for myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia, muscle imbalance, and a general eye health assessment. All findings will be issued in a written prescription.

Safety Eyewear

All eyewear is fabricated to exacting standards in our modern production facilities. All protective products will meet or exceed current ANSI Z87 Ophthalmic prescription guidelines for industrial applications. Our quality assurance Parrelli Optical monogram (PO) will be affixed only after a series of final inspections.

Eyewear Design

Frame selection and fitting of employees for either plano (no power) or prescription safety glasses is available in our offices or on site. All eyewear is designed considering individual employee's visual tasks. All services are performed by Registered Dispensing Opticians.

Frame Selection

Parrelli Optical offers over 60 styles of eyeglasses, face shields, and cover goggles. Your employees can choose from contemporary styling and colors. Aesthetically pleasing and comfortable eyewear encourages use on the job. And, all of our frames offer superior protection and durability.

Dispensing

Parrelli Optical will dispense and adjust all safety eyewear to proper fit and maximum visual and physical comfort. All of our services are performed by Registered Dispensing Opticians.

Maintenance

It is recommended that all safety products be inspected every 6 months, or as needed to insure proper adjustment and replacement of any broken parts. This guarantees optimum visual acuity and maximum protection. Introductory screening of new employees entering the Safety Eyewear Program should be conducted at these visits.

Parrelli Optical offers the convenience of a comprehensive local optical company to provide for all your company's safety needs. We provide easy acquisition of products and services, hassle free ordering, and a trained safety coordinator to handle all your questions.

Emergency Service

Emergency service can be performed at any Parrelli Optical Location. We have 6 locations throughout the greater Boston Area.

Employee Benefits

As a further benefit, your employees are automatically enrolled in our VIP Courtesy Program. This will enable all immediate family members as well as the employee to a 20% discount on any complete dress eyewear at our Cambridge or Danvers locations. Also, both locations offer contact lens packages for all soft and rigid lenses as well as eye exams. The VIP Program is no charge and is offered automatically to all employees in the safety program.
