OUR STAFF

Jonathan Parrelli, RDO, FCLSA,NCLE-AC, inherited his father’s love of a challenge, and desire to meet the visual demands of the individual. He earned an associate’s degree in optics from Middlesex Community-Technical College and a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Merrimack College. He is a licensed optician, a certified refracting optician, and a contact lens fitter, specializing in cosmetic and therapeutic rigid gas permeable contact lenses.

Jonathan is a member of the Opticians Association of Massachusetts, Contact Lens Society of America, and a fellow of the National Academy of Opticianry. He has taught contact lens theory and fitting technique at the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston. Jonathan is a clinical advisor for several manufacturers and is actively involved in the development of new contact lens designs.

Christina Parrelli, RDO, ABOC, NCLC

Christina Parrelli, RDO, ABOC, NCLC, is a licensed optician and the manager of the Danvers office. Christina joined the family business in 2004.

A graduate of St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y., she also has a master’s degree from New York University. Christina is a member of the Contact Lens Society of America. Her specialty is fitting patients to the best frames and lenses to complement their unique look, lifestyle, and prescription.

Ethel Galanis

parrelli optical danvers ma Ethel Galanis RDO, ABO, NCLE, joined Parrelli Optical in 1989 after working in an independent optometrist’s office and also an ophthalmic laboratory for five years in Florida. She has been a Massachusetts licensed optician since 1990 and is a member of the Opticians Association of Massachusetts and the Contact Lens Society of America. Frame selection and knowledge of modern lens design enable her to fit patients with the frames and lenses that are right for them and assure that her clients look good and see their best.

Our Independent Optometrists

Peter Bridger, O.D., graduated from The New England College of Optometry with a doctor of optometry degree. Before joining Parrelli Optical in 1988, Dr. Bridger provided comprehensive eye care at an independent optical company which he also co-managed.

Dr. Bridger earned his undergraduate degree at Northeastern University, where he conducted research in the field of vision. He trained at the Jocelyn Diabetic Center and has expertise in diabetic vision care.

Leslie Carey, O.D.

Leslie Carey, O.D., earned her doctor of optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry, and has more than 20 years’ experience in providing comprehensive eye exams. Dr. Carey also has extensive knowledge in cataract patient care and glaucoma management.

Before joining Parrelli Optical in February 2009, Dr. Carey practiced in a variety of well-established optical and ophthalmic practices in the Boston area. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Massachusetts Society of Optometry.
